This beautiful wine country home located in St. Helena, California was recently redesigned by Schneider Design Associates in collaboration with Jean Larrette Interior Design.


Even though the owners of the home initially wanted only a kitchen remodel and a bedroom addition, they ended up optimizing the design of the entire residence and adapting it to its beautiful surroundings.


According to the project developers, “the design takes advantage of the sweeping vineyard and ridgeline views and transforms a dated ranch style house into a contemporary weekend retreat.


The design connects the interior spaces directly to rooms created in the landscape through the use of two large doors on axis with the Living Room, Dining Room, and pool.


The layout allows for effortless transition between inside and outside, perfect for summer living and entertaining.”
