Exotic Forest Home Design

You don't often come across such a beautiful house, made of natural materials and pure inspiration.

This project was designed and conceived by Seattle-based Finne Architects, pretty much the entire house is finished in wood and surrounded by lots of vegetation.

This forest house is designed in a cabin-style with natural finishes, which enables the residence to perfectly blend in with the green surrounding habitat. This house features a number of natural materials which include things like the wooden floors and panelling, a stone fireplace and a rock wall.

It's obvious that the designers have held onto the concept of open plan living to create the atmosphere of large open spaces in an environment which clearly very dense. Expansive glass windows and skylights allow the two-storey living rooms to get enough sunlight and also invite the outdoor views in.

The living room area and kitchen become the centre pieces of the house which is not only beautiful because of its natural interior décor but because it also features lots of types and textures of wood clad walls, ceiling, and cabinets.

This house also has an amazing bathroom that is decorated with wood which is unconventional but certainly works. The bathtub is installed in the corner and is surrounded by glass walls which allow natural light and peeping toms to easily gaze in. We love it. We want it. The house of course ... not the peeping toms.
