Unlike our usual contemporary kitchen design posts, we've decided to put one together about traditional kitchen designs.

Interior design is all about designing spaces in your home that complement each other. When it comes to creating a classic or traditionally designed kitchen it is important to use the right colours and the right finishes to get the right feel. A classic kitchen for example should evoke feelings of warmth and charm.

Getting the right atmosphere in the kitchen is also determined by the layout of the kitchen. Once you have established the best way to maximise the space, you need to consider the materials that you will be using. Use traditional kitchen cabinets like the ones in the images below and incorporate a centre island if you have the space available.
