Polis

Polis Chrysochous lies on the north-west coast of Cyprus, in the Paphos district. It is located within a 30 minute drive of the town of Pafos and is serviced by Paphos and Larnaca airports. The town caters perfectly for nature lovers and anyone looking for an active lifestyle; walking, hiking and cycling are popular activities and the regions' nearby mountains are ideal for hiking.

Polis has a wonderful healthy climate and the hot summer days can be spent on the beautiful sandy beaches. Across Chrysochous Bay one can visit the Akamas Peninsula, a nature conservation area rich in wildlife and animals that won't be seen anywhere else on the island. Polis is relatively under-developed in comparison to other areas in Cyprus and the town's whitewashed sugar- cube houses and Orthodox Church domes are a reminder of how much of the island once appeared.
