Varna, one of Europe's oldest cities, is a seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It is the countries' third largest city after Sofia and Plovdiv and is the headquarters of the Bulgarian Navy and merchant marine. Varna is a major tourist destination however it also boasts a booming economy in the sectors of banking, insurance, investment management and real-estate. The region enjoys a mild continental climate.
The beachfront resorts of Golden Sands, Holiday Club Riviera, Sunny Day and others - with a capacity of over 60,000 beds - attract millions of visitors each year. Another popular attraction is The Sea Garden which contains an open-air theatre, an aquarium, a dolpinarium, the Nicolaus Copernicus Observatory and Planetarium, the Museum of Natural History, a terrarium, a zoo, an alpineum and a children's amusement park! It is no wonder then that property investors having been flocking to the area in recent years.
