Bansko is a town and ski resort located some 160 km south of Sofia in south-western Bulgaria. It lies in the foothills of the Pirin, Rila and Rhodope mountain ranges at the edge of the Pirin National Park. Bansko has established itself as the most popular Ski and winter resort in the country and its world class facilities attract visitors and investors from all over Europe.
